From the same team behind ANIMAL NYC in Brooklyn, ANIMAL now prowls into Los Angeles' Arts District in a huge former music venue. The sprawling outdoor patio is shaded by trees and centred around an Airstream bar, with plenty of space to escape the dance floor or settle in with friends. Inside, an enormous banana disco ball hangs over the second bar.

DJs usually take over Thursdays through Sundays, with no cover. ANIMAL doesn't have a kitchen, but you can find food trucks set up outside. The agave-heavy drinks list leans into margaritas alongside frozen espresso drinks, spritzes, and a surprisingly substantial non-alcoholic menu.
