Sacramento Pride is the annual LGBTQ+ Pride celebration in Sacramento, California. Centered around downtown's Capitol Mall, the usually two-day event includes a parade and festival that draw over 20,000 attendees. Sacramento Pride Festival and Parade

The 2026 Sacramento Pride Festival runs over two days, with performances from local musicians and your favorite (and soon-to-be favorite) drag royalties! The Pride March, meanwhile, starts at Southside Park, proceeds along T Street and up 10th Street, ending at Capitol Mall in front of the State Capitol.

Sacramento Pride History 

Sacramento Pride began in 1979 following a controversial police raid on a local gay disco. The first march that year marked a shift toward visibility and activism in the region. Since then, Sacramento Pride has evolved from a small protest into a major cultural event that advocates for LGBTQ+ rights in Northern California. It's also a great excuse to party.
