San Juan Pride is the main Pride event in Puerto Rico, taking place in the island’s vibrant capital city. The celebration marks the culmination of a week-long series of events honoring LGBTQ+ visibility, unity, and joy across the Caribbean.

While dates and other information about the 2026 edition are still under wraps, we've outlined what you can expect based on past Puerto Rico Pride events.

Weeklong Festivities in Condado

The celebrations typically begin with dynamic parties throughout the week in San Juan’s gay district along Avenida Condado. The neighborhood of Santurce, especially around La Placita, also comes alive with restaurants and bars that serve as central hubs for visitors and locals throughout Pride Week.

Main Parade Celebration

The San Juan Pride Parade usually starts at Parque del Indio in Condado and proceeds along Ashford Avenue before ending at Parque del Tercer Milenio, Escambrón, a popular beachside park. The parade features colorful floats, performers on stilts and roller skates, go-go dancers, drag personalities, and community groups marching together in celebration.

Post-Parade Festivities at Parque del Tercer Milenio

After the parade, celebrations continue at Parque del Tercer Milenio, with performances and a rally organized by Colectivo Orgullo Arcoiris (Rainbow Pride Collective). The post-parade event includes speeches, music, and performances that highlight Puerto Rico’s vibrant LGBTQ+ culture.

Extended Celebrations at Escambrón Beach
