Zagreb Pride 2026: date, parade, events
June (Dates TBC)
city centre various venues, Zagreb, Croatia

Dates and details for Zagreb Pride 2026 are still TBC.
The 2026 Zagreb Pride will mark the milestone 25th year of the annual Pride March (Povorka ponosa). What began as Southeast Europe’s first successful Pride march has blossomed into a vibrant protest-celebration championing LGBTQ+ rights.
Each year, Zagreb Pride is defined by an activist theme and a “Pride Platform” of values. 2026 will be no exception, continuing a legacy of visibility, resistance, and community.
Zagreb Pride March
While the exact date for the march is still to be confirmed, Zagreb March usually begins at the Croatian National Theatre (HNK) for speeches and a send-off. Then, the Pride March winds through central Zagreb: Frankopanska, Ilica, the main square (Trg bana J. Jelačića), and onward down Jurišićeva and Draškovićeva to Ribnjak Park.
Streets close intermittently as thousands of marchers waving rainbow flags, Trans flags, and banners fill the historic avenues with chants for equality. Zagreb’s charming Austro-Hungarian architecture forms a backdrop to this rainbow procession, symbolizing how far Croatian society has come (and the distance yet to go).

Rally and Afterparty
The march culminates in Ribnjak Park with an activist rally. Here, community leaders and NGOs deliver impassioned speeches, reflecting the chosen 2026 theme and Pride platform.
After the rally, the mood shifts to celebration: live local bands, DJs, and drag performers take the stage for an open-air entertainment program. The park buzzes as attendees dance, picnic on the grass, and visit info stalls run by rights organizations.
