Dallas Southern Pride (DSP) is one of the USA’s most significant celebrations of Black LGBTQ+ culture, bringing thousands together each year for its Juneteenth Unity Weekend in Dallas, Texas. The four-day festival blends the celebration of Black LGBTQ+ pride with the historical and cultural significance of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth Unity Weekend

The Juneteenth Unity Weekend is expected to return with a diverse program of activities, including pool parties, cultural events, and signature nightlife celebrations. The Crowne Plaza Downtown Dallas typically serves as the host hotel and central meet-up location for attendees, with additional accommodations available at partner hotels to welcome the large number of visitors attending each year.

Originally established in 1997 as an informal gathering, Dallas Southern Pride has since grown into a nationally recognized annual event drawing participants from across the country.
